Practicing law for over a decade, Ms. D’Alessandro has had a unique legal career. Following graduation from law school, Ms. D’Alessandro served for two years as a judicial law clerk for the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Virginia – a prestigious position in the largest trial court of the Commonwealth and granted to only 15 recent law school graduates. In this role, Ms. D’Alessandro served as a legal advisor to a highly-respected member of the judiciary who relied upon Ms. D’Alessandro to research and analyze challenging legal issues, prepare written memoranda concisely summarizing her research, and provide legally sound recommendations which often served as the basis for rulings in the complex matters that came before the court each week. Ms. D’Alessandro’s clerkship was an extraordinary experience and established the foundation for her successful legal career.

After her clerkship, Ms. D’Alessandro joined a preeminent boutique law firm in Tysons Corner, Virginia, where she remained until 2021. During her time there, she practiced in several of the Firm’s departments, including civil litigation, estate planning & estate administration, and real estate. In the civil litigation department, Ms. D’Alessandro gained extensive trial experience in circuit courts and general district courts throughout Northern Virginia focusing primarily on breach of contract, landlord/tenant, and other general civil matters. In the estate planning & estate administration department, Ms. D’Alessandro provided peace of mind to many clients by drafting their Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney related to health care and financial matters, and deeds. She also often guided fiduciaries through the complicated probate process. In the real estate department, Ms. D’Alessandro learned the transactional side of real estate law by conducting settlements, resolving title issues, reviewing and drafting easements, preparing contracts and leases, and providing advice to buyers/sellers of real estate as well as landlords and tenants. Ms. D’Alessandro’s well-rounded experience and expertise in litigation, estate planning, estate administration & probate, and real estate transactional matters sets her apart from many of her counterparts.
